Kerri Jenkins

Kerri Jenkins is one of the many reasons why I love being a photographer so much. Last week, in AC, I got to work with her for the 3rd time in about a year. This was her first beach shoot and she was absolutely fantastic and beautiful as ever. She is an amazing young woman with a ton of talent and is on her way to making it big. What nationality are you? English and Italian 
Where do you live now? Philadelphia
What music is currently on the play list for you right now? 
I listen to everything from hiphop, edm, country, rock...It depends on my mood, but being a dancer, I'm used to loving all types of music to match every style of dance. 
Are you a stay at home girl or do you love to go out?
I like going out once in a while but I am definitely a stay-at-home kinda girl. I love a night in with a glass of red wine and a movie.  

                     

What is your favorite spot right now to go out? 

I haven't gone out in a while because I usually gogo every weekend at different clubs so I get my fix that way. I dance at Harrah's Pool in Atlantic City and Rumor in Philadelphia right now. 
What is your best feature and why?(and be honest)

I love eyes in general because they're so expressive and I'm blessed to have very light blue ones which I think helps me in modeling.
What do you get the most compliments on about yourself? 

Haha honestly, probably my ass. But I think thats because it's become more acceptable to judge a woman on their body parts instead of something non-sexual.

Do you do a lot of photo shoots or was this your first? 

I've been doing a lot of photoshoots. I love building up my portfolio and trying different things in front of the camera.
Where is your dream photo shoot location? 

I'd love to do something different like an old asylum or something with edge to it. 
What do you look for in a guy?

I like a guy to be humble and kind and genuine but also have kind of an edge and masculinity to him so I still feel protected and challenged. Nothing is more important to me than laughter though. 

What do people think when they first meet you? 

I'm not really sure. I think most people think I'm bitchy because I'm often very quiet and shy until I start speaking and open up. Some people tend to see a pretty girl being quiet and they think she's judging or has no personality. Once I think someone actually talks to me, however, I think my sweet personality comes out and they can see I'm very lively. 
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you... 

I think people would be surprised to know that I'm a homebody, especially since I work in the clubs. Also that I rarely go to the gym. Most people don't believe that but it's true. I usually only make it to the gym once or twice a month either because I'm busy doing other things or just because I'm lazy haha.

If you have a day off what are you doing with it? 

Honestly, probably watching TV and playing with my puppy. I love going to the movies on my day off but my days off are so few and far between that all I want to do is relax, eat, and sleep when I get the chance! 
Where is your favorite place in the world?

I haven't been to THAT many places. I would love to travel the world more and go to Paris, Italy, etc. But right now my favorite place is Sutton, Massachusetts...where I grew up. I love going back home and seeing my family and all the places that made me who I am.
