Off and on I have been thinking about if I wanted to start a blog. Every few weeks I go back and forth and weigh the pros and cons and then as usual I get pulled off to do something else and the blog gets forgotten. This morning as I was editing some images I realized that it is time to get to blogging. I usually say a little something about each person that I shoot with on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram but it really is never enough.
I am lucky enough to work with and shoot some of the most beautiful women. Not only to I get to take pictures of them but I get to know them and become friendly with them and thanks to this wonderful medium known as photography I consider many of them personal friends. I do what I do for a reason; because I absolutely love it! I love when a girl gets pictures back and says how much she loves them or how good it makes them feel. I love that I can bring a smile to people's faces. I love reading comments on social networks and seeing the positive feedback. I love that I have helped some girls go on to bigger things. I love being able to take simple head shots and have a girl say that it's their favorite pictures. I love collaborating with makeup artists and hairstylists for bigger shoots and having the end results be amazing. I love when a girl says it's her first shoot and is nervous in the beginning but by the end is already planning to come back again.
I love having a camera in my hand. I see the world much more clearly through a lens and somehow everything makes sense to me.
With this blog I am going to post pictures and talk about the models and whatever shoots I do. I would love to get feedback from any and everyone. I am always here to answer questions and I will try and answer them in the best way possible.
